Victor Cables Corporation was established in 1955 by a visionary Mr B K Gupta after his extensive training at Enfield Cables Ltd, UK (BICC Group).

Victor Cables Corporation Ltd is a leading Cable manufacturing Company in India and enjoys an enviable track record for its quality and delivery. The Company has been known for its being a technologically advanced Company which is evident from its many firsts which includes pioneering the manufacture of Railway Signalling Cables for the first time in India in 1967 and of LT XLPE Cables (in technical collaboration with Showa Electric Wire & Cable Co. Ltd, Japan -- TOSHIBA Group) in 1985.

The Company is now headed by the founder's son Mr Shivraj Krishna Gupta, the Mg Director, alongwith a team of dedicated professionals.

The Company's expansion plans include diversification into manufacture of HT Power Cables & Cables for undersea & offshore applications.

Landmarks
-1955- Established by Mr B K Gupta and commenced with manufacture of VIR Rubber Cables.
-1960- Commenced manufacture of PVC insulated Cables.
-1964-Set up Ghaziabad plant.
-1966-Commenced manufacture of Enamelled Copper Wires.
-1967-Commenced manufacture of Railway Signalling Cables.
-1972-Amongst first few to be licenced to manufacture PVC Power Cables.
-1980-Incorporated as a Ltd Company.
-1981-Set up Faridabad plant.
-1984-Entered into technical collaboration with Showa Electric Wire & Cable Co Ltd, Japan,(TOSHIBA Group) to manufacture Low Voltage XLPE insulated Power Cables in India for the first time.
-1985-Commenced supplies of LT XLPE Cables to APSEB.
-1986-Commenced manufacture of FRLS Cables.
-1996-Signed an MOU with Daesung Cable Co.Ltd, South Korea, to establish a Joint Venture to manufacture Wiring Harness for Automobiles.
-2012-Relocated Faridabad plant to Pathredi Industrial Area, Bhiwadi (Rajasthan) with brand-new state of the art buildings.
